These are just some of the many questions we like to go through with any client in order to try and work out how to deliver the best film for your budget – and we’re not necessarily chasing an Oscar for every film we create. But crucially we have the skills to put it all into practice.
We’ve been doing this for a long time, and all the team have been recruited for their aesthetic sensibilities (as well as being all round fabulous people). That means that we have a light touch and know when and where to apply the magic dust that brings a certain something to any film.
Taste is about knowing who to cast, how to direct, where to shoot, where to put the camera, what lenses to use, what to put in the edit, what to take out, what music to use, what look to give the film, where to apply titling… It’s a thousand different micro-decisions, born from experience, that all lean towards creating something truly special.
We’ve got the best job in the world, and we know it. Yes, we like to get the job done, on time and on budget, but we like to have a good time while doing it.
